My Story:
My story began 6 months before I was born. My Mom was 3 months pregnant when my Father died. She was presented with an opportunity to have an abortion; after all, she had never intended to be a single mom. By faith, she saved my life and determined to honor God and raise me no matter what the circumstances would be that she would encounter.

God provided various men in our lives to help provide some role-modeling for me in those early years; however, when I was four years old, a very special man came into our lives…and never left. He married my mother when I was five years old. He adopted me, giving me his name and his legacy. Once again, someone saved my life.

Later in that same year, I had an incredible realization: I was a sinner, along with all of humanity, and Jesus paid the price for my sins. I certainly didn’t know all of the theology or deep truths of the faith, but I knew that I needed Jesus. At the age of five, I prayed to Him, acknowledging my condition and asking Him to come into my life. In the best way I knew how, as a five year old, I surrendered to Jesus. Once again, but in an eternally significant way, Someone saved my life. I was delivered from condemnation. I was set free. The Heavenly Father adopted me as His child and gave me an eternal inheritance that will never waste away. He has assured for me eternal life in heaven and abundant life here on earth. The journey began when I was five and it still continues every day as I learn more and more how to fall in love with my Redeemer.
